Practicing dentistry is a true passion of mine. I have always been interested in helping patients of different ages with all their dental needs and I take full responsibility for the result of the treatment. Especially, I enjoy creating beautifully balanced faces with great smiles. What adds richness and meaning to my life is be involved not only with patients but with my staff as well. I am proud to see my staff members grow personally and professionally. I continue to learn something new every day. At our office, we love to have fun, and we want you to enjoy coming to see us!
Education
I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Alberta, Canada in 2004. Before all of this I graduated from Minsk State Medical University, Belarus in 1985 with specialization in prosthodontics.
Continuing Education
I have many years of continued training with cosmetic procedures, extensive courses in orthodontics, implant dentistry and graduated from Kois Centre for Advanced Dental Studies, Invisalign aligner therapy. I believe it is extremely important to keep current on the newest techniques and technology in order to provide my patients with the best care possible.

In the Community
Being involved in our community is very important to me. I have been sponsoring Rotary Run for Life since 2007. Every year we give $1000.00 Dr. Alla Dekterov Health Care Award to one student at Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain who is accepted to health related post-secondary program. In 2007-2008 we served our community with Free Dental Days for low income families and single parents. Since 2009, we provide free dental services to current patients of our practice in needs.
Outside the Office
I am originally from Belarus. We came to Canada in 1999. My husband is Mihail Dekterov and we have two sons, a cat and a dog. When I’m not in the office I enjoy hiking, reading, listening to music, and gardening.
